Dr. Bo Evans is a Board Certified Family physician and owner of Fountain Family Medicine, a comprehensive family medicine clinic founded in 2005.
After graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Biology, he went on to complete a Masters in Biology and received his Doctorate of Medicine from Marshall University in 2002. He completed his residency training at St. Vincent’s Family Medicine Program in Jacksonville, FL.
Dr. Evans is a member of the Florida and American Academies of Family Practice.
His clinical interests include: Prevention and Wellness Medicine, Weight loss and Obesity, Diabetes, Cardiovascular, Anti-Aging, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Mood disorders, Insomnia, Pulmonary and Musculoskeletal disorders.
‘Dr. Bo’ as his patients call him, is married with three young children and when he’s not at the office or home mowing the grass, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends on the water or in the great outdoors. He also enjoys a good game of chess!
Dana Harrington, ARNP joined Fountain Family Medicine in 2013 as a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She has an extensive background in family & internal medicine, pediatrics, weight loss, and hormone replacement. She is a full blooded "Osprey" who initially graduated with her BSN from the University of North Florida and then returned to complete her Master’s of Science in Nursing at UNF’s Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Program in 2010.
Dana is a native of Jacksonville, living close by the office in Mandarin with her husband and daughter. She loves spending time with her family, enjoys making custom wood furniture, vacationing, and lounging at the beach when she is not working.
Teri Tyer PA-C is joining Fountain Family Medicine, and has been practicing in Primary Care as a Physician Assistant for over 25 years. She graduated, with honors, from the University of Florida Physician Assistant Program in 1990. Teri has maintained national certification as a Physician Assistant by the NCCPA throughout her career. She has extensive experience in all aspects of Family and Internal Medicine, but has special interest in promoting wellness and the practice of preventative medicine.
Teri has been married for 26 years. Although she began her medical career in Jacksonville, she moved away while her husband served in the US Navy. She and her family returned to Jacksonville in 1999. She has lived in St. Johns County for nearly 20 years and has practiced in the Mandarin area for the past 15 years in Family Medicine. During this time, she has developed many strong relationships within the local medical community.
Teri and her husband have raised their four children in St. Johns County, and love all that this area has to offer. Her two oldest children have graduated from college and are pursuing their careers, her third attends University of North Florida, and the youngest attends Creekside High School. Teri enjoys traveling, reading, the beach, being on the water and spending time with family and friends.
